Hello. My name is Miss Jodi. I have over ten years of experience working with preschool children. Along with over 30 hours of college credits in Early childhood Education. My dream has always been to open my own preschool. I am excited to begin this school year.I Hope to teach your child!
AT JUNGLE FRIENDS PRESCHOOL
We teach with a Reggio Emelia Inspired curriculum. Which will teach your child thru hands on experiences. These experiences are child initiated by children‘s interest with teacher facilitation. The teacher will guide your child in the areas they need to improve and challenge them when they are ready for more. Our child-initiated hands-on activities will assist in developing your child‘s Social Emotional, Cognitive, Language and Physical Skills.
Getting Messy is important to us!
Children learn thru hands on experiences, so messes are important to us. All of our art projects are process oriented not based on art projects. We enjoy playdoh and glue too!
We love Reading!
Our teaching philosophy includes the importance of early literacy skills. Including letter recognition and writing. These skills are learned through child-initiated interests. And your child will receive Scholastic book order forms all year long!
We care about your whole family!
We have family events all year long! These include Meet ‘n Greet, Halloween Party, Holiday Party and other events. We also will be offering a Parents night out! You are always welcome to volunteer in our classroom our at any of our events!
And with our small class size of only 6 students your child will be able to make great friends and develop their social/emotional along with conflict resolution skills!
